(Madison, Wis.) – Two students will gain experience in dairy management and the feed industry as Vita Plus interns this summer. Brock Irwin and Vanessa Roberts will work on different teams and focus on specific projects for the duration of the summer while learning the values of Vita Plus.

(Madison, Wis.) –Vita Plus is committed to serving dairy and livestock farms and rural communities across the Upper Midwest during the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent dairy and livestock market challenges. As part of this commitment, Vita Plus announces the launch of the Serving Customers & Rural Communities Project. Through this project, Vita Plus will contribute $100,000 to support food security initiatives in rural communities.
(Loyal, Wis.) – Vita Plus Loyal and Vita Plus Kennan have proudly selected four high school seniors as recipients of the 2020 “Our Future is Agriculture” scholarships. This program recognizes deserving students with long-term career interests in agriculture. Students must plan to enroll in an accredited vocational/technical institute, community college, or four-year college or university that offers an academic major in an agriculture-related field.
(Madison, Wis.) Ariana Negreiro was recently selected as the Vita Plus dairy nutrition and management fellowship student at Michigan State University. Negreiro is the sixth student to participate in the program. She will spend two summers and two semesters earning her master’s degree in dairy science while simultaneously gaining experience in dairy nutrition and management consulting. Vita Plus will fund the credits throughout the duration of the experience in return for the research and project support she will provide.
(Madison, Wis.) – Kristyn Nigon was selected as the 2019 Vita Plus summer intern. She will be working with the Vita Plus Loyal team to gain experience in dairy management and the feed industry, as well as conduct her own research project and learn more about Vita Plus for the duration of the summer.

Western will work closely with a team of nutritionists to provide farm-specific nutrition and management strategies. She will continuously provide the highest level of scientific-based advice and research to help dairy producers reach their production goals.
(Loyal, Wis.) – Research continues to show that milk is one of the best products for athletes to consume. Based in central Wisconsin, Blackburn will provide customized feed and nutrition strategies as well as management expertise for every area of the dairy farm. Utilizing farm-specific ration formulation and cutting-edge technologies, Blackburn will help dairy producers reach their unique production goals.
(Madison, Wis.) – Steve Murty was recently named a Vita Plus forage products specialist. Based in central Iowa, Murty will provide on-farm forage support for staff and dairy producers in Wisconsin, northern Illinois, northern Iowa, Minnesota and eastern South Dakota. Murty will build upon his agronomy expertise to help producers capitalize on emerging forage production technologies and make the best forage-related decisions for their farms.
Vita Plus employee owners were excited to join the #10GallonChallenge by donating 10 gallons of milk to local food pantries, and challenge other businesses and community members to do the same.

He will work closely with farm teams to provide nutrition and management solutions to meet their goals. He will also work closely with Vita Plus teammates to offer the latest in research and technical expertise to further serve customers.

Based in Columbus, Wisconsin, DeBoer will provide nutrition and management expertise to help dairy producers reach their production goals. In addition, he will remain up-to-date on cutting-edge technologies to better serve customers now and in the future.

Working in northeastern Wisconsin, De Jager will provide nutrition consulting and offer customized solutions to help producers meet their goals. In addition, he will work closely with the Vita Plus dairy team in that area to continually offer cutting-edge technical expertise.
