Meier named Vita Plus quality assurance specialist

Bruce Meier recently joined the Vita Plus team as a quality assurance specialist. In this role, Meier will ensure all manufactured products meet quality expectations, and regulatory, company, and customer specifications. He will also support all Vita Plus animal food manufacturing and warehouse facilities to continue to build a strong culture of quality and food safety.

Meier comes to Vita Plus with more than 25 years of operations and food safety experience in the food processing and animal feed industry. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Moraine Park College where he received his associate degree in agriculture mechanics and engineering. Meier most recently served as an animal food safety, quality, and regulatory regional supervisor for a large animal nutrition company. In this role, he coordinated all aspects of feed safety for the specific region including Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) compliance, program implementation and training. His extensive experience coupled with his great leadership and team building skills are a great asset to Vita Plus and our commitment to an aggressive attitude towards quality, animal food safety, and customer service.
