 For this edition of Vita Plus Starting Strong - Beyond the Barn, we traveled to Minneapolis, Minn. for Vita Plus Dairy Summit 2010. Nearly 400 producers, industry peers and Vita Plus staff gathered Dec. 8 and 9 to learn about the latest dairy research and practical solutions to take home to their farms.

Vita Plus stopped in at the Wisconsin State Fair (August 5-15 in West Allis, Wis.) to check out the education opportunities at the celebrated event. The House of Moo and the Milking Parlor Demonstrations offer visitors a chance to engage with Wisconsin's dairy industry, which contributes more than $26 billion to the state's economy.

Ann’s Top 5 Favorites of This Year’s Show From Ann Hoskins, Vita Plus Calf Products Coordinator Outstanding cattle in the show ring – Cattle numbers were up this year and we saw some great looking animals in the show.  I personally saw some very impressive heifers walking through while I volunteered in the Ayrshire ring.
