Jones Named Vita Plus Fall River Grain Accountant (October 2013)

(Fall River, Wis.) – Jill Jones was recently named grain accountant at Vita Plus Fall River.  Jones will work closely with customers to meet their grain contract, merchandising and accounting needs.  She will maintain customer grain banking and storage balances, and serve as a resource for both growers and end-users.

Jones attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and earned her bachelor’s degree in agriculture education.  Since then, she has worked as an agriculture educator and FFA advisor.  In 2008, Jones earned her master’s degree in educational leadership and policy analysis from UW-Madison.  Most recently, she taught at Poynette High School, where she also assisted with the Youth Apprenticeship program.  Jones is a project leader for the Welsh Prairie Livewires 4-H Club.  She is also a member of the Markesan FFA Alumni and Columbia County Farm Bureau.  Jones, her husband, Greg, and their two children live near Cambria, Wisconsin.  They operate a cash crop and beef farm in partnership with Greg’s family.
