This Makes my Life Easier: Expandable Folder

The team at Birchen Farms Inc. in Pearl City, Illinois, uses this expandable folder that’s prepacked with everything needed to process newborn calves.  Each section holds a zippered plastic bag so an employee can pull one bag and go to work rather than collect supplies from multiple spots.

Included in each bag:

• Calf card:  The employee uses this to write all the information about the calf, birth, and colostrum and vaccination administration.
• Ear tag and button:  These are arranged in numerical order in the folder so calves are properly identified.
• Proper Inforce^® 3 dose with cannula, syringe and needle.
