Krultz Named Vita Plus Loyal Commodity Merchant (August 2013)

(Loyal, Wis.) – Jenn Krultz was recently named a commodity merchant at Vita Plus Loyal.  In her new role, Krultz will work to assure consistent, on-time delivery of feed ingredients and grain throughout central Wisconsin.  She will specifically focus on canola and assist customers with forward purchasing and market insight.  She will also assist with risk management strategies in the cash grain markets through hedging in the futures markets.  Krultz will be a resource for both growers and end-users as they implement marketing plans and strategies to gain profitability in their businesses.

Krultz grew up in Greenwood, Wisconsin.  She attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (UWRF), where she earned a bachelor’s degree in dairy science with a minor in agronomy in 2011.  During that time, Krultz earned her American FFA Degree and Dean’s List honors.  She was also recognized with the Wisconsin James W. Crowley 4-H Dairy Leadership Award and Clark County 4-H Key Award, participated in the FFA’s New Century Farmer Conference, and was named the Outstanding First-Year Member of the UWRF Agricultural Education Society.  Most recently, Krultz worked as a professional artificial insemination technician for a dairy genetics company.  She also has on-farm work experience on several dairies in central Wisconsin.
