Hereth and Skalitzky join Vita Plus marketing team

Makenzie Hereth and Sara Skalitzky are the newest additions to the marketing team at Vita Plus in Madison, Wisconsin. In their roles, they will be key members of the marketing team and contribute to various communication and marketing efforts. Their focus will be on serving customers and assisting consultants offering technical expertise to producers.

Hereth is from Woodbine, Maryland, and will serve as the communication and marketing specialist. Hereth grew up on a grain and livestock operation while being involved in 4-H and FFA. She showed market steers and swine while engaging in various leadership activities. She attended Lincoln Land Community College to earn her associate degree and then transferred to Iowa State University to complete her bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications. During her time in college she was a member of the livestock judging team and Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow. She has previous internship experience in agricultural writing and communications, education, and events. In her role, she will provide editorial leadership and project management to multiple technical newsletters, blogs and other communication efforts. She will also assist with design, brand development and execution across websites, multi-media and digital platforms.

Skalitzky is from Waterloo, Wisconsin, and will serve as the marketing assistant. Skalitzky grew up on a sod and cash crop farm. She was actively involved in 4-H and FFA and showed dairy cattle. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville where she earned her bachelor’s degree in agribusiness with an emphasis in communications and marketing. While in college she held many leadership positions in the Association of Women in Agriculture and Collegiate Farm Bureau. Her previous internship experience has provided her experiences in agronomy and the dairy industry. In her role, she will provide editorial support to communication and marketing efforts, assist with the development of Vita Plus company materials and maintain company websites while providing support for blog and e-newsletter development.
