Bremmer Recognized as Outstanding Woman in Agriculture (April 2014)

Bremmer’s work in empowering women and promoting agriculture led to her recognition for this award. At Vita Plus, Bremmer created the annual “Chick Day” event that has grown to include more than 100 women from Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. In the last six years, Chick Day has raised more than $20,000 for several charities. Through volunteer organizations, Bremmer serves as an agriculture spokeswoman. She has met with legislators to discuss agricultural issues and also works with many consumers across the country to discuss modern food production. Locally, Bremmer volunteers for many FFA Food for America programs in Clark County, organizes United Way school supply drives, and helps plan the annual “Fore the Kids” Golf Outing to benefit Marshfield Clinic’s Children’s Advocacy Fund.
