Tramburg named Vita Plus executive vice president

John Tramburg was recently named Vita Plus executive vice president.  He has led safety, operations, grain/brokering and transportation teams since 2020.  As executive vice president, Tramburg will be leading the company’s strategic capital investments to better serve customers.  He will also be bringing his extensive leadership and organizational development experience to more segments of the organization while helping to guide the growth, culture and success of the employee-owned organization.

Tramburg attended Michigan Technological University before earning his master’s degree in business administration at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  He has since gained more than 25 years of business experience in operations, supply chain management, customer service and international product sourcing.  Tramburg also has held several leadership roles across an extensive list of industries, including vice president of Cabela’s Canada and outdoor services divisions, head of distribution at Uline, vice president of supply chain and logistics at Batteries Plus Bulbs, and, most recently, vice president of operations at Empire Today.  In the latter role, Tramburg oversaw 10 distribution centers that serve customers in 75 market areas throughout the U.S.
