Video: Managing high moisture corn

Posted on November 19, 2019 in Dairy Performance
High moisture corn is a high-value crop, making it especially important to prevent spoilage and keep as much in the silo as possible. Stephanie Jens, Lallemand Animal Nutrition, joins Michelle Chang-Der Bedrosian, Vita Plus, to offer a few tips for storing and feeding high moisture corn.

Vita Plus Dairy Summit 2019 will take place December 11 & 12 in Green Bay, Wisconsin and the deadline to register – December 2 – is approaching fast!  Talk to your Vita Plus consultant for full event details and registration information.

Prior to the first session, producers can partake in farm tours to see what steps their peers have taken toward long-term success.  Tours will visit:

  • A farm milking 350 Holsteins with six Lely Astronaut A4 milking robots installed in 2017
  • A registered Holstein farm milking 600 cows and breeding the bottom two-thirds of lactating cows to Angus

Want to visit historic Lambeau Field while in Green Bay?  Instead of participating in farm tours, producers may attend a behind-the-scenes guided tour of the home of the Green Bay Packers.

We look forward to seeing you at Vita Plus Dairy Summit 2019 as we dive into Waves of Change in the dairy industry!
