 The Vita Plus facility in Columbus Wisconsin offers an array of services for livestock producers in Southeastern Wisconsin. They provide ration balancing, on-farm troubleshooting, and grain storage and merchandising. The employees at our Columbus facility take note to each customer's needs and are willing to go the extra mile to meet their needs! Nutritional Expertise The Columbus facility has two full-time and one part-time nutritionist on staff. Our staff can conduct body condition scoring and herd walk throughs to help you better evaluate your herd's status. The nutritionists use Nutri-Spec to balance your rations. Nutri-Spec can balance for amino acids, starch, RUP vs. UIP, RDP vs. DIP and SP vs. SIP, along with a full spectrum of major and minor trace minerals. Nutri-Spec also focuses on replacement heifers, dry cows, and transition cows. Feed Manufacturing and Delivery We focus on providing you with high quality feeds for your livestock. We can custom blend either proteins or minerals to best balance with your homegrown forages and grains. We also can manufacture pelleted products for your calves, pigs or starting feedlot cattle. In addition, we have three delivery trucks to get your feed where and when you need it. We can deliver either bagged or bulk product. Grain Storage and Merchandising Take advantage of grain banking homegrown grains to help lower your cost of production. Vita Plus Columbus works with our full-time grain merchandiser at Vita Plus Fall River who can help you with your homegrown grains. |
