Crop-N-Rich is a unique forage inoculant based on the scientifically proven strain of Lactobacillus plantarum MTD/1. Research shows this forage inoculant works to improve fermentation of haylage, corn silage, small grain forages and high moisture corn. It is a highly efficient producer of lactic acid and works over a wide range of pH values and temperatures.

Unlike other forage inoculants, it is uniquely produced through continuous culture and is independently proven in peer-reviewed research. In fact, MTD/1 has a wider proof of animal performance benefits than any other forage inoculant of its kind as shown by reviews by Weinberg and Muck (1996) and Kung and Muck (1997).

This forage inoculant is designed to improve forage bunk life and feedout when paired with proper crop management. The next "stage" in silage fermentation technology, Stage 2 contains a unique combination of two complementary bacteria, Pediococcus pentosaceus (to enhance fermentation and cause a rapid decrease in silage pH) and Lactobacillus buchneri 40788 (to improve aerobic stability and feed out through production the production of acetic and propionic acids – potent antifungal compounds). Buchneri 40788 is one of the most independently researched bacteria on the market, with more than 40 peer-reviewed research papers. Use Stage 2 on haylage, small grains and corn silage.

Bale Champ is a buffered propionic acid that aids in the preservation of baled hay. By correctly using Bale Champ, producers can safely bale hay at higher moistures with a decreased risk of spoilage. This allows producers to retain more leaves, which account for 70 percent of the protein, 90 percent of the carotene and vitamins, and 65 percent of the digestible energy in standing alfalfa.

BunkLife is a mold inhibitor and contains buffered propionic acid designed for use in total mixed rations (TMRs). It is available as a dry or liquid product. When used correctly, BunkLife reduces heating and mold growth in the feedbunk, improves palatability, decreases the amount of feed wasted, and maximizes milk production during heat stress.
