Crop-N-Rich^® Buchneri strain 40788 was specifically isolated and designed to improve the aerobic stability of high moisture corn and corn silage.

Why use Crop-N-Rich Buchneri?

Reduce spoilage and heating that occurs at feedout.
Reduce yeast counts in high moisture corn and corn silage that cause spoilage as compared to untreated corn.
Results in less shrink and keeps feed in better condition, ultimately leading to improved animal performance.

How does it work?
Through a series of complex pathways, L. buchneri converts lactic acid to acetic acid and Propylene Glycol (Figure 1). These two products help improve the aerobic stability of high moisture corn

Crop-N-Rich Buchneri 40788 Application Rates
High moisture corn: 600,000 CFU per gram of high moisture corn when applied at a rate of 11 grams per ton. Corn Silage: 400,000 CFU per gram of corn silage.

Crop-N-Rich^® Buchneri 40788 is available in a convenient package size at a rate of 7.3 grams per ton.
400 gram packet - heat sealed, foil packet will 36 tons of high moisture corn or 55 tons of corn silage.
