We believe in the pride of Employee Ownership. We believe that by having a company where everyone is an owner keeps our focus directly on the success of our customers who benefit from our products and services. Employee Owners also are concerned with building long-term, sustainable value for our customers and ourselves, not just with short term transactional relationships. When you work at Vita Plus, you are part of a committed team that is results-oriented, dedicated to customer service, and looking every day to effectively improve the value we offer our customers and ultimately what we each receive from our ESOP. Employee Ownership is truly the PLUS in our Vita Plus name and the promise we make to our customers. ESOP One of the pillars of our foundation at Vita Plus is our ESOP program, which allows all employees to share in the success of our company. Profit Sharing has been an annual event each year since the founding of our company. Through this program, a significant share of company profits are contributed into our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) to be allocated to each employee through compensation based formula to form their own account. This account then invests primarily in Vita Plus stock, in addition to other sound investments. Many long term employees have seen these accounts grow into substantial sums of money at retirement. This program allows employees to not only share in the year-to-year success of Vita Plus, but to re-invest those dollars to continue the growth of our company and our individual retirement assets. |
